Keion Cage is a sophomore Journalism major at Hampton University, a good distance away from his hometown of Houston, Texas. He chose Hampton because of the rich history the school has with journalism, producing a lot of black journalists. He also wanted fresh and new experiences, so he decided to leave his comfort space and go to school out of state. Making writing an outlet for himself, Keion loves writing and telling stories. “ I feel like I tell stories in a different way they’ve never been told before.” After college, Keion wants to be a staff writer at ESPN's Undefeated. If you combine the passion and work ethic of Keion, the future is bright for just a kid from H-Town.
