Founder, Raven Harper, is a Houston Hottie who was inspired by her own personal blog to create a contributing blog for aspiring journalists like herself across the nation. The path of media was unknown to her in high school, but after attending a journalism intensive camp at Rutgers her senior year, she found joy in voicing her opinion and writing. She is currently a junior Journalism major, marketing minor at Hampton University in Virginia. While at Hampton University, she has created a footprint of being a stellar campus reporter for the Hampton Script, and innovative social media director for Her Campus Hampton U. “My goal is for [The Voiced Society] to be that place our generation of teens and young adults go-to for news and entertainment.” After graduating from Hampton in 2022, Harper also hopes to become an editor for a publication like Essence or Teen Vogue, and possibly a social media strategist on the side as a personal business.
