Noel Austin is a second-year journalism major at Fort Valley State University, an hour and a half away from his hometown, Atlanta, Georgia. In France, the word noel means Christmas Season. Christmas season is about giving, spending time with family, and joyfulness. These are the words that would help describe Noel Austin. Austin gets his love of journalism from the conservations that sometimes leads to friendly debates with his pops. These conversations and debates have fueled him to work to become a black multi-talented journalist. Noel’s desire is to tell a story as it has never been told before and help devise the field of journalism. He currently serves as one of our writers.
